Terms & Conditions
ARTICLE 1: DEFINITIONS
1.1. The following definitions apply:

Event: the Masters & Teens Throwdown sporting event, organized by or on behalf of Stichting Girls Behind Bars Events.

Participant: the natural person who registers to participate in the Event.

Agreement: the agreement regarding the participation of the Participant in the Event.

Organizer: Stichting Girls Behind Bars Events, located at Spaarne 65B, 2011CG Haarlem, The Netherlands (KvK …), organizer of the Event.
1.2. These Terms & Conditions apply to every Agreement. The applicability of any general terms of the Participant is expressly rejected.
ARTICLE 2: PARTICIPATION
2.1. Minimum age is 11 years. Participants under 18 must have written parental/guardian consent. The Organizer may request proof at any time.
2.2. Participation is only valid after:

full and truthful completion of the registration form,
-
full payment of the registration fee,
-
signing the Liability Waiver, and
-
acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
2.3. Fees are non-refundable, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
2.4. The Organizer may cancel, change, suspend or move the Event (including date, time, location, program) due to force majeure or exceptional circumstances (e.g. government measures, epidemic, extreme weather, strikes, technical failures).
2.5. Such changes or cancellation do not entitle Participants to compensation of any related costs (travel, accommodation, etc.).
ARTICLE 3: LIABILITY
3.1. Participation is entirely at the Participant’s own risk. The Organizer, its staff, volunteers and partners are not liable for any damage (including injury, illness, death, property loss or damage), except in cases of intent or gross negligence.
3.2. Any liability is limited to the amount paid by the Organizer’s insurance.
3.3. Participants must have adequate personal accident and liability insurance.
3.4. Participants declare that they are in good physical and mental health, and sufficiently prepared.
3.5. Participants indemnify the Organizer against claims by third parties resulting from their participation.
ARTICLE 4: IMAGE RIGHTS
4.1. By registering, the Participant grants the Organizer a free, worldwide, perpetual and irrevocable license to use photo, video and audio material in which the Participant is visible/audible, for promotional and commercial purposes, without entitlement to compensation.
ARTICLE 5: PERSONAL DATA
5.1. The Organizer processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy, available at the following page.
5.2. By participating, the Participant consents to publication of their name and competition results in event communications (website, social media, press).
ARTICLE 6: APPLICABLE LAW AND DISPUTES
6.1. Dutch law applies exclusively.
6.2. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
